Advanced professional position providing direct therapeutic services to identified mental health and substance abuse clients. The therapist is responsible for maintaining patient care in accordance with program guidelines and external standards. (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.). The therapist will provide clinical services specifically psychosocial assessments and treatment planning to individual, group therapy to children and adolescents.
Must have Florida License (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, training in child/adolescent therapy) or licensed eligible-registered intern. Computer knowledge should include Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) and Electronic Medical Records experience helpful. May provide clinical oversight in a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone. May be required to complete standing presentations involving speaking and listening to audience.
General office and health care setting. May be required to travel within Hillsborough County via agency or personal vehicle to provide services in a community setting. Most work completed while seated using standard office equipment. Multi-tasking, fast paced, team approach requiring above average time management skills.
