Responsible for daily operation of the program, supervision of direct service staff, and training and consultation. Reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the supervisor/program manager.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Services. Previous case management experience preferred. At least two years supervisory experience (preferred) and experience in a light patient volume program. Knowledge of managed care, billing and insurance verification. Knowledge with the State Hospital system preferred. Proficiency with computer applications including Mircorsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn and use other computer software. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to, and respond to questions form managers, clients, service providers, family members, and the general public. Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships required for proper functioning. Demonstrates skills to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and facilitate tasks and work assignments.
Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone. May be required to complete standing presentations involving spreaking and listening to audience.
General office, health care setting. Most work completed while seated at desk using standard office equipment. Fast paced. Multi-tasking requiring above average time management skills. Team approach.
